As a dedicated researcher, she not only offers professional guidance but also brings a unique perspective as a survivor and protective parent herself.
Julie Nee
Julie, a LCSW, has received clinical training as a social worker, supervised and trained by Dr. Cocchiola as coercive control therapist who is trauma informed. She specializes in the experiences of coercive control post separation. With deep empathy and firsthand insight, she supports protective parents and survivors navigating the psychological, legal, and relational aftermath of coercive dynamics.
Amanda Nguyen
Amanda, who has a Masters in Counseling, supervised and trained by Dr. Cocchiola as coercive control counselor who is trauma informed. I am a survivor of long-term coercive control, including post-separation abuse that escalated through the misuse of legal systems and the manipulation of parent–child relationships.
